In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
